What causes insomnia?
The cause of insomnia is usually quite difficult to determine, because in many cases it is the result of various factors. One of them, very common, is stress (or anxiety), which is related to work, financial difficulties, family or personal relationships, society or stress in general. As a consequence, we have difficulty falling asleep. Try to remember a situation that excited you a lot - you probably thought about it over and over again - during the day and night, and that led to insomnia.
